This poster is a famous piece of Art Deco history, created by Belgian artist Auguste Mambour in 1928 to advertise the "Le Raid au Cap" endurance car race. The event was an ambitious trek from Liège, Belgium to Cape Town, South Africa, sponsored by the Belgian armaments and vehicle manufacturer FN (Fabrique Nationale de Herstal).
